The names says it all...a variety of hardwoods, abundant wetlands, mounded open areas, ponds, and native wildlife, this is The Timbers. Exceptional layout and design. Tree lined fairways are relatively wide, but an errant shot will be penalized. Many holes are isolated from others giving a northern Michigan feel to the course. Greens are large with some undulation. Water, wetlands, and sandtraps offer some interesting hazards encouraging good shot making. A gem for the price.

Would travel: 120-300 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level, Bargain priced based on quality and competitive area pricing
